Since March 18th, 2020, our office has been providing only essential and emergency care during drastically limited office hours. We are pleased to announce that effective June 1, 2020, we are resuming a somewhat more normal schedule, focusing on essential care, including dental hygiene. Of course, the practice of dentistry has forever changed. Our preparations in the previous few weeks have centered on ensuring your safety, as we have developed new standards based on CDC, ADA, and NIH guidelines that dictate our practices as we resume our normal schedule. As part of our new protocol, please expect to be met in the parking lot by one of our assistants, who will take your temperature and then escort you immediately to your operatory. Also, please expect to complete a questionnaire and consent form that are relative to the COVID-19 National Emergency. We are limiting the number of patients seen and continue to practice social distancing and extreme infection control procedures to protect your health. For 30 years now, Teague Dentistry has made the safety and health of our patients our top priority. With that in mind, we have been closely monitoring the very fluid situation of our National Emergency. At 4:45 pm on March 16th, 2020, the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners recommended that all non essential dental services be postponed effective March 17th, 2020, for a period of two weeks. Our office remains open and we are here for your essential and emergency care.
We sincerely apologize to all of our patients for the inconveniences that this will cause. We greatly appreciate your patience as we all deal with this incredible threat to our society. May God bless and protect you and your family, and our great nation, as we struggle with the uncertainty that these unparalleled times have brought upon us.
